Can you believe 2019 is coming to a close? Neither can we! This has been a landmark year in Cornwall Alliance’s history. 

Why? Because all these years we have operated as a project of another 501(c)(3) organization. But this year we took a leap of faith, and did a whole lot of hard work, and became our own, independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit!

That process is almost complete. We received our 501(c)(3) determination letter from the IRS—a huge step! Now we’re waiting on some pending state charitable registration approvals before we become fully independent.

To celebrate, we’re kicking off our #GivingTuesday (the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving) campaign with the theme “Growth for 2020”!

What does that mean for you as a supporter of the Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation? It means keeping us in mind as we approach this amazing day of giving. We know there are many important things to which you give your time and money. Please consider giving the Cornwall Alliance a special “growth” gift for #GivingTuesday on or before December 3rd!

• $5,000 enables us to produce a new booklet like Clear Thinking about Climate Change. 
• $2,500 enables us to run an exhibit and sales table at a large conference.
• $1,000 helps us produce and place 10 opinion columns. 
• $500 helps us produce and post 10 articles to Cornwall Alliance’s blog. 
• $250 helps us produce and post 5 articles to our Earth Rising blog for Millennials and younger.

Of course, it’s rare to receive $5,000 in a single gift. (We love it when it happens!) But if 5 donors gave $1,000, or 10 donors gave $500, or 50 donors gave $100, we could produce a new booklet, and so on down the list. Our mission is funded by individual givers giving as God leads them.
