Dear Father in Heaven,

We thank You for your continuous work among the men and women of this world, making them better each day. You have made us with unique gifts and callings, and we acknowledge the work of Your hand in the economic development of post-industrial era.

Lord, as we stare upon uncertain future due to the economic impact of the coronavirus, we ask you to make a way for the future. Just as You helped the world overcome so many diseases and pestilences in the past, we ask You to intervene in the ongoing health crisis and cure the world of this pandemic, before it begins to drastically impact our economies.

Lord, we pray especially for the poor of this world who are the most affected, more so during the current global lockdown. Help us to serve those who depend on everyday wages to meet their minimum monthly expenses, as we are beginning to hear the cries of more and more people who do not have the means to pay their monthly bills.

Lord, we pray that You will revive our economies, help leaders implement developmental policies that prioritize poverty alleviation and employment. We ask You to make the economies flourish and help those below the poverty line, especially in Africa, to prosper and get access to basic amenities in life.

Make us also Your agents of grace and love. Help us extend the grace and blessing that You have poured into our lives.

But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous. Luke 14:13,14
