World’s Most Populous Nation Has Put Solar Out To Pasture. Other Countries Should Follow Suit

by Vijay Jayaraj

During his debate with former President Donald Trump, President Joe Biden claimed: “The only existential threat to humanity is climate change.” What if I told you that it is not climate change but climate policies that are the real existential threat to billions across our planet? The allure of a green utopia masks the harsh realities of providing affordable and reliable electricity. Americans could soon wake up to a dystopian future if the proposed Net Zero and Build Back … [Read more...]

“Green” Activists Menace Humanity

by Vijay Jayaraj

A swirl of tomato soup engulfs Van Gogh's vibrant “Sunflowers.” Mashed potatoes mar Monet's serene “Water Lilies.” Across the globe, priceless artworks endure desecration in the name of climate activism. On a recent weekend, so-called eco-activists threw yellow soup on the “Mona Lisa” at Paris’s Louvre Museum. These acts are a vile destruction of beauty in the name of a dangerous worldview.  Peaceful protest of injustice is an important aspect of our civilization. Be it the civil rights movement … [Read more...]

New US-EU Methane Rules Won’t Affect Temperatures

by Steve Goreham

In March, the US Environmental Protection Agency published new methane emissions regulations for the oil and gas industry. In May, the European Union enacted new rules to reduce methane emissions from the energy sector. Agriculture is also being targeted regarding methane. But methane regulations, even if established worldwide, won’t have a measurable effect on global temperatures. However, they will raise costs for energy and food, impacting consumers and businesses. On March 8, the … [Read more...]

Small Group of House Members Introduce Pro-Tax, Anti-Energy Bill

by Cornwall Alliance

The following is a guest article by Daren Bakst. The PROVE IT Act (S. 1863) is a pro-tax, anti-energy bill that, if passed, would lead to a carbon tax on imports and a domestic carbon tax.Last month, a coalition of over 40 leading conservative and freedom-loving organizations made it clear to the House: the conservative community opposes the PROVE IT Act. The letter was sent in anticipation of a House version of the bill being introduced. That day has arrived. Today, Rep. … [Read more...]

Climate Cult: Exposing and Defeating Their War on Life, Liberty, and Property, Brian Sussman, Post Hill Press

by Anthony J. Sadar

Temperatures in much of the US soared to near and above 100 degrees Fahrenheit this past week. Temperatures this high are highly unusual and humans are to blame. This is obvious, right?  Not so fast. Regardless of the popular memes, history and nature still have an enormous say on current climate events. History and nature are given a voice in Climate Cult: Exposing and Defeating Their War on Life, Liberty, and Property by certified broadcast meteorologist and talk-radio host … [Read more...]

Mining the Planet for Renewable Energy

by Paul Driessen

This election year, several critical issues dominate voter concerns. Illegal immigration across unsecured borders by migrants, criminals, sex traffickers, and terrorists. Anti-police policies reduced prosecution of criminals and rising crime. Unprecedented prices for food, clothing, housing, and other necessities.  Parental roles in education and sex changes for children. Threats to our republic and democracy from unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats who use their powers to persecute, prosecute, … [Read more...]

The Real Human Cost of “Green” Initiatives

by Ronald Stein and Vijay Jayaraj

Almost half the world — over three billion people — live on less than $2.50 a day, and billions live with little to no access to electricity, like those in places like Africa, Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, and Malaysia. This is complicated by the hypocritical “green” agendas of leaders in the few wealthier developed economies that have benefited from the more than 6,000 products made from fossil fuels since the beginning of the industrial era. Wealthy countries desiring to pursue their … [Read more...]

Winter Without Your Gasoline Car?

by Steve Goreham

January of this year brought near-zero temperatures to Chicago and other northern cites, producing an electric vehicle (EV) charging nightmare. National media showed images of owners pushing dead EVs around charging stations and waiting for hours to try to charge their vehicle. Drivers lucky enough to connect to a charger sat in their freezing-cold automobile, unable to run the heater while the car tried to charge. Nevertheless, the federal government and many states continue to push to … [Read more...]

Exploding Energy Prices in California

by Steve Goreham

California leaders know that rising prices are a huge problem. The state is now considering a plan to tie utility rates to personal income so that the rich pay more and low-income residents pay less. Costly California looms as an example of poor energy policy.Energy prices are skyrocketing in California. The state’s electricity, gasoline, and natural gas prices are amongst the nation’s highest and rising. Green energy policies are the primary cause for high and escalating California … [Read more...]

Climate Activists Are Wrong About Which Energy Source Reduces Air Pollution

by Steve Goreham

Today’s media are filled with concerns about air pollution. But few people know which energy source has produced the greatest modern reduction in air pollution. The answer isn’t wind or solar energy.During the 1950s, my grandfather had a coal furnace in his basement, like many homes in Chicago. Five days after a winter snowfall, the snow was covered with a visible black film of dust from coal furnaces. Our younger generation does not know the original reason for “spring cleaning.” Every spring, … [Read more...]
