by Cornwall Alliance

The following is a guest article by Alex Newman. Leading voices in the climate science community are in an uproar as their warming hypothesis is coming under fresh assault by new scientific papers. The authors of the papers are being attacked and say that “activist scientists” threatened by the new findings are “aggressively conducting an orchestrated disinformation campaign to discredit the papers and the scientific reputation of the authors.”Indeed, from insults on social media … [Read more...]

Electric Vehicles Are Much More Costly than Commonly Claimed

by H. Sterling Burnett

Electric Vehicles (EV) have been much in the headlines recently, from stories detailing the difficulties with charging them to losses suffered by major automakers pushing them at the behest of the Biden administration, to EV fires, the dependence on China for critical components used in EVs including their batteries, range and function issues, and beyond.I have discussed the myriad problems with EVs on multiple occasions in recent months. For instance, I addressed a range of concerns in detail … [Read more...]

Ninety-Nine Percent Consensus? Not so, Says New Analysis

by H. Sterling Burnett

A new study published in the journal Climate by a group of researchers from various universities and research institutes in Israel (Dentelski, et al.) debunks a study in another journal that claimed support for the theory humans are causing dangerous climate change “anthropogenic global warming” (AGW) tops 99 percent.A 2021 study (Lynas et al.) claimed a review of a random sample of 3,000 publications discussing climate change, out of “a dataset of 88125 climate-related papers published since … [Read more...]

Need We Fear Another Ice Age? A Review of Following Jesus in a Warming World

by Anthony J. Sadar

The title of this review may be confusing considering that it is an assessment of the book Following Jesus in a Warming World: A Christian Call to Climate Action by Kyle Meyaard-Schaap (IVP, Downers Grove, IL, February 2023). However, “Need We Fear Another Ice Age?” is the title of a Christian tract written by Walter Lang and Vic Lockman to comfort Christians and witness to others at a time in the 1970s when scientists and the public were expecting the return of a planetary freeze.I … [Read more...]

Nothing Good Comes from Biden’s EV Ploy, Only Bad Karma

by Larry Bell

The biggest economic push for electric vehicles (EVs) appears to be to move them out of dealer inventory lots despite government subsidy perks.EVs are now some of the slowest sellers on dealership lots. In September, it took retailers over two months to sell a plug-in, compared with around a month for gas-powered vehicles and only three weeks for a gas-electric hybrid. The slowdown is also problematic for taxpayers and car companies that are plowing billions of dollars into new battery … [Read more...]

by Gregory Rummo

Image: Creative Commons under UnsplashIntroductionAs recently as the 2018 Gallup poll, climate change ranked near the bottom of Americans’ environmental concerns. But that has changed. A Google search on the question “What are the largest problems facing the 21st century?” on May 15, 2023, generated a substantial number of links, including to various lists, with environmental issues, including climate change, near the top.
