Dear God

We thank you for creating this beautiful world. When you created it, you said that it was good. Help us to care for the Earth that you have entrusted into our care.

Lord, you show us in the book of Romans how the creation is groaning under sin and is waiting to be redeemed. Even while the whole of creation waits for the day of redemption, we want to be the channel that carries your light into this weary world. Father, speak your words of life into the nations of the Earth. May the whole world know you and of your love for them. Send people of the light into the dark places to snatch the souls from the clutches of the enemy.

We pray for the Developed countries of the West. Bless the land. Let the former hunger for the things of the kingdom and the gospel be restored in these lands. May we continue to be a blessing to the peoples of the Earth and use our lives to further the gospel of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We pray for the developing countries. Bless these poor nations. Father, restore peace and justice, protect the women and the children, raise up men who will stand for the rights of women and children. Heal the broken hearted and set the captives free. Put in them a hunger for you and help them to find you because your word says that you will be found by all who seek you. We pray for open doors for the gospel to reach the people there.

We pray for the Leaders of nations and their states. Give them wisdom and install in them the fear of God. Lord, root out the corruption that exists in these countries. May your righteousness and justice prevail. We pray your wisdom and knowledge on the rulers of these places. Help them to make the right decisions that will bring the people closer to finding you.

Father, we pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
