Joint Letter to President Trump Urging the Rejection of the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol
As noted in the letter below, the Montreal Protocol was created originally to replace the use of certain refrigerants with hydrofluorocarbons (HFC) in air conditioners and refrigerators because of the belief that those refrigerants were depleting the ozone layer.
