Newsom’s Policies Make California a National Security Risk

by Ronald Stein

California is home to 9 International airports, 41 Military airports, 3 of the largest shipping ports in America, as well as more than 30 million registered vehicles, all of which cannot operate without imported foreign oil from other nations like Saudi Arabia, Ecuador, Iraq, Columbia, and Russia. Thus, California is a serious national security risk for America. In his nearly six years in office, Governor Gavin Newsom has aggressively moved to shut down oil production in California. Statewide … [Read more...]

You Can Act to Prevent Implementation of California’s All-EV Plan

by E. Calvin Beisner

Last month, California Governor Gavin Newsom announced a rule by the California Air Resources Board to require 100 percent of new car sales in California to be zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) by 2035:“We can solve this climate crisis if we focus on the big, bold steps necessary to cut pollution. California now has a groundbreaking, world-leading plan to achieve 100 percent zero-emission vehicle sales by 2035," the Governor said. Two Narratives and their Widening Fault Line: A Review and Comments on Voddie T. Baucham’s Fault Lines

by Gregory L. Robertson

In today’s populist, racially-charged “social justice” movement in America, I see the shadows of the Cultural Revolution in Critical Race Theory (CRT), and in the ideology that inspired this movement. For those unfamiliar with CRT, it is the idea that American law, society, and institutions are inherently racist. Whites are born racist because of the cultural domination by White people in furthering their own economic and political power at the expense of “people of color.”—Lili Tang William … [Read more...]

What Really Caused California’s Devastating Wildfires?

by Jennifer Bays Toombs

I was raised in the Midwest region of the United States, but I’ve lived most of my adult life in the Southeast. Imagine my surprise, then, when I was given the opportunity to move to Los Angeles, California, a place I had only seen on television. It’s been two and a half years since that move, and that time has been filled with many more surprises. The biggest shock to me was my immediate and intense love for California. There’s not enough time or space for our purposes here to describe fully … [Read more...]

by Ronald Stein

He wants an electrical grid of intermittent electricity free of fossil fuels before 2045California Governor Gavin Newsom announced on Friday, September 11, that he is about to take one giant step toward following Germany’s failed climate goals, which should be a wake-up all for governments everywhere.Like Germany, California’s renewables are becoming an increasing share in intermittent electricity generation, but at a high cost.  Power prices in Germany are among the highest in … [Read more...]

California’s High-speed Rail Won’t Solve Climate Change—or Move Many People, Either

by Mark Landsbaum

One of the greatest absurdities of the so-called Green New Deal proposed then backed away from by socialist-inclined Democrats, is the idea that the nation’s  transportation needs can be met by building high-speed rail everywhere – and getting rid of cars and airplanes. This utopian nonsense supposedly is rooted in a desire to “do something about climate change,” which has become code for destroying civilization’s affluence, seizing control over you and your money and enriching crony … [Read more...]
