Great God Almighty,
Please forgive me of my sins, for they stand multiplied before You. Nothing that I do escapes Your watchful eye, Oh Lord, so please let me stand humbly as a redeemed sinner before Your holiness and glory. Let me honor You with my life and please cover my dishonor through Christ’s blood. Hear my prayer and my heart’s cry, Oh Lord. Fill the gaps of my mind where I cannot speak clearly and hear the intent of my heart as I approach You.
Oh God, you have changed the course of history before, please, I ask that You do it again. We are no longer free in the land of freedom. We live in a land where laws are passed that offend You and Your Holy Word. We desire to serve You, honor You, and represent You before the unsaved world, but the governing bodies over us are trying to block our message through deceptive speeches aimed at demeaning Christianity and Christians. They suppress You and Your Word. They mock and ridicule You and Your people. Please soften the hardness of their hearts toward us and remove their hatred toward You. Grant us the freedom to act in accordance with Your Word.
Let us rise up without fear of man, but in fearful respect of our God. We stand trembling before You with hearts of joy and overwhelming love for You and Your People. Please, let us express that freely and see the communities, cities, counties, states and the nation change before Your eyes. Jesus, let us show the world what your Lordship is, Oh King of Kings. We bow before You and ask for Your protection as we seek to sustain what is left of our freedom and we work to restore what has been lost.
In Jesus’ name we ask these things. Amen.
