God of all grace and Provider of all of our needs, we come humbly to you today on behalf of all your children around the world who live constantly in the grip of poverty, those who hunger for the physical nourishment of life.
We pray that we may be more aware of their suffering so as to do more than our share in alleviating their discomfort. Let us by your Holy Spirit be so convicted to help that we may hurt constantly for those who are suffering. Lead us to help meet their needs as you have called us. So let them be filled physically and thus more ready to live normal lives.
Further, above these needs alone, we pray that they may each find their way to You in faith, whom to know is life everlasting. We pray all of this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
