U.S. Nuclear Energy Policy: Stuck on Stupid!

by Duggan Flanakin

The gullibility of the human species is a sight to behold. Take these examples, from a list of superstitions.According to Joshua Partlow, Washington Post Mexico bureau chief, putting two mirrors in front of each other opens a threshold for the devil. In Lithuania, it is forbidden to whistle indoors, because the noise is believed to summon demons. In South Korea, it is commonly believed that prolonged exposure to a running fan will cause hypothermia and asphyxiation. Here’s one not from that … [Read more...]

Let Them Eat Solar Panels

by Robert Bryce

Image: Creative Commons under UnsplashRecently, during a speech at a high-dollar fundraiser for the League of Conservation Voters in Washington, D.C., President Joe Biden exulted about a solar project in Angola. According to a transcript of his speech that can be found on the White House’s website, Biden said:“We have plans to build a railroad from the Pacific all the way across the Indian Ocean.  We have plans to build in — in Angola one of the largest solar plants in the world. I can go … [Read more...]

The Religious Cult of Climate Catastrophism

by Cornwall Alliance

The following is a guest article by Andrew Montford.I have been working in climate and energy for nearly 15 years, and it’s fair to say that it’s not often I find something that makes me radically change the way I look at the domain. But a new book, by Andy A West, has done just that. The Grip of Culture makes the case that climate catastrophism is cultural – akin to religion or one of the extreme political movements that have assailed the world from time to time. This is not an entirely new … [Read more...]

Education Game-Changer

by John Droz, Jr.

Last week, for the first time, a major state formally rebuked one of the core elements of the Left’s scheme to undermine our education system (see below). If other states are paying attention, this could be the beginning of an extraordinarily significant awakening and rejection of the stranglehold that the Left now has on our K-12 education system. It’s no secret that the Left plans to take down America. Their number one strategy to bring this about is to corrupt the education system. Their … [Read more...]

Great Car Reset: Biden’s EPA to Release Strict New Fed Emissions Standard

by Marc Morano

The Great Car Reset has arrived: Our transportation system is being intentionally collapsed; (and our freedom of movement is being stripped away) EVs are to be forced upon YOU without a vote! This is the planned rationing of vehicles. The planned rationing of American cars. That’s the only way this plan makes sense. The only result will be shortages of cars and a completely altered used car market. You can look to Cuba to find out what it’s like to have a raging used car market because … [Read more...]

Biden’s 67% EV Policy: a Dictatorial Attack on the American Driver and the US Grid

by Alex Epstein

Biden's proposed mandate of 67% EVs in the 2030s is a dictatorial attack on the American driver and the U.S. grid that will:1. Force Americans to drive inferior cars.2. Place massive new demand for reliable electricity on a grid that is declining in reliable electricity supply.China dominates the supply chains of many critical minerals, and given the environmental policies of the Biden administration, this will not change in favor of U.S. mining anytime soon.1Biden’s EPA is planning to dictate … [Read more...]

Some Like It Hot – Others Like It Cold

by Duggan Flanakin

The drivel from air-conditioned mainstream media newsrooms has reached new levels of guffaw with the “shocking” headlines that the Fourth of July was the hottest day on Earth in “as many as 125,000 years” – breaking a record set on July 3. Hmmm.  Really? Or is this just hype to avoid mentioning the shortfall of patriotic fireworks, replaced by drones across much of the Home of the Brave (not so much.)Here’s what we know IS true. In many places, including central Texas, it was HOT on … [Read more...]

India’s Record Aircraft Orders Ignore Climate Goals

by Vijay Jayaraj

Indian low-cost carrier IndiGo recently made headlines with its record-breaking order of Airbus passenger jets. The deal, worth an estimated $50 billion, is the largest single order in Airbus history. While the order for 500 of the A320neo aircraft is a major coup for Airbus, it is being termed a “setback” for climate action. It is worth noting that Air India, another large carrier, recently placed orders totaling $70 billion in retail value for 470 aircraft from Airbus and Boeing, including 70 … [Read more...]
