Their aim was to capture film footage for use in a documentary about “climate change” (which, remember, is code for “dangerous to catastrophic manmade global warming).
That was what 16 people identified as “Climate Change Warriors” were doing aboard the Arctic Tours ship MS Malmo when, on September 3, the ship got caught in Arctic sea ice that neither passengers nor crew anticipated.
The incident occurred off Longyearbyen, Svalbard Archipelago, halfway between Norway (which owns the islands) and the North Pole.
It will be interesting to see if, and how, the “Climate Change Warriors,” who were evacuated by helicopter, use footage from their debacle in their documentary.
The ship’s crew of 7 remained behind.
