Climatologist Patrick Michaels detected an error in the temperature record at Reagan National Airport recently, and reported it to the Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang, which confirmed the error and duly reported it to the National Weather Service, which acknowledged the error and replaced the instrument (which for the last year and a half has been reading 1.7 degrees F too high). So far so good. But then, as Michaels reports and comments: ... the National Weather Service told the Capital … [Read more...]
Is NOAA Lying to US (and Us) about US Climate History?
In an article titled "The 'Trick' to Controlling the Climate Agenda," energy physicist Michael W. Brakey accuses the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration of systematically falsifying historical temperature data to create the appearance of more warming than has actually happened. His argument: NOAA has applied an algorithm (a bit of computer code that applies itself repeatedly to a set of data) that systematically lowers observed temperature data more and more the farther back into … [Read more...]
NOAA Seeks to Expand Federal Oversight of Hawaiian Waters: New plan will limit use of Hawaiian coastal waters by surfers, fishermen and tourists
With the incredible recovery of humpback whales, NOAA recently proposed to delist them as an endangered species. The logical follow-up step is to dismantle the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary. Instead, NOAA is moving forward with a 24 million dollar proposal to expand their focus to much more than whales, while increasing regulations and restricting use and enjoyment of areas within the revised sanctuary boundaries. Humpback Whales Ignore Global Warming Hype
NOAA recently proposed removing most of the world’s humpback whales from the endangered species list, and for good reason. Whales are back. While rarely mentioned, one of the biggest factors in whale recovery is economic. As E. Calvin Beisner, Ph.D., mentions in the documentary BLUE, nobody is concerned with running out of whale oil anymore, but … [Read more...]

Included in the $3.9 trillion budget was $10.8 billion earmarked for climate change-related initiatives in … [Read more...]
