Today my good friend Dr. Tom Sheahen, a physicist and head of the Institute for Theological Encounter with Science and Technology (ITEST), wrote to say,
Already this morning a friend sent me the “Patriot Post” rendition of your article [“Senator Whitehouse, Your New Wardrobe Is Ready”] that quotes me at length. Thank you very much. The “sackcloth and ashes” wardrobe line was really clever. I didn’t see that coming at all.
I just wish some members of the hierarchy of the Catholic Church would take note, and tell ol’ Sheldon to knock it off. …
PS: [Joe] Bastardi’s book [The Climate Chronicles: Inconvenient Revelations You Won’t Hear from Al Gore–And Others] arrived just fine a couple days ago, and I started reading it. But immediately an eager friend borrowed it for a while. Could you ask Megan to send me another copy?
That’s the ticket! Share what we send you!
Tom got his copy of Joe’s book by responding to our offer to send, as our way of saying thanks, a FREE copy to anyone who gave a donation of ANY amount (100% tax-deductible, by the way) and requested it, mentioning Promo Code 1803. So now you know how, and you can follow Tom’s example.
But learn a lesson: Never lend a book you haven’t finished reading!
